What's new on Airtame

🍰 New features

• Introducing Share to Call for Conferencing: Anybody in the meeting room can now use the Airtame app to share their screen to a call without having to join it. Simply click Share Screen next to the appropriate device, enter pin displayed on the TV and you are good to go.

• Conferencing: You can now share your system audio while sharing screen as room host on Windows

🏋 Improvements

• Conferencing: If a feature released in future updates is not supported by your application version, you will now see a message telling you to update the app.
• Conferencing: If you accidentally close your laptop lid while controlling a call, you can now successfully reestablish connection to the TV if you open the lid again before the device times out.
• Changed discovery mechanism to utilize Multicast Queries (QM) rather than Unicast Queries (QU). This should address discovery issues for customers running particular network equipment that would not support QU mDNS.
• Added an option to scroll in the list of devices available for setup
• Minor icon and UI updates

🐞 Bug fixes

• App should now restart automatically after it installs an update on macOS
• Fixed broken layout of “Secure this Airtame” screen on Linux
• Fixed “Learn more” link on recording permission screen on macOS
• Fixed the link to Knowledge Base on pre-flight screen on macOS
• The “Learn more” link on the recording permission screen on macOS doesn’t open.
